Starting on April 1, The Arnold Exchange began a transition of ownership with original builders and owners Blaine and Kris Hagler now operating the business.
The convenience store and restaurant has been renamed The Exchange.
The Haglers said during the first couple of weeks, they will be focusing on serving breakfast and the convenience store side. After they get up and running, lunch will be served again. There will be no senior nutrition meals served due to the meals contract, but a senior discount will be offered, and meals will also be offered to shut-ins. They ask everyone to bear with them as they get up and going. All employees will be staying on.
“We are glad that they are all staying on. We’re just looking for one more day person, and will be looking for high school kids to work when school gets out,” said Blaine.
The business, built three years ago, is currently for sale by the Haglers.
We are staying positive, and still think it’s a great business opportunity,” said Blaine .
